Hi Everyone,
Don’t look at the timestamps and also no I didn’t promise a playlist.
Doctor Do-Little | The Case Against Anthony Fauci by Sam Adler-Bell Sometimes I have that thing where I think I’m a buzzkill feminist leftist annoying Jew and you can’t praise a single thing that’s happening in politics around me. That being said, please stop treating political figures like celebrities, it’s cringe. This article addresses some questions I had with regards to anyone in a leadership position working under the Trump administration, no matter how bureacratic that post may be.
Chernow Gonna Chernow by Alexis Coe Speaking of leftist cringe culture, I enjoyed Hamilton when it came out, and then I graduated highschool and learned some more about politics and media and stuff. Growth is good and fine. I’m not going to prostrate myself for being into a cultural fad that I had no control over. I do remember when the news about Hamilton being an enslaver broke a couple months ago and I texted all my friends, but it was too late, one of them had just paid for an engraved pet name tag reading ‘Hamilton’ for their new cat. This is a good breakdown of the academic bullying that Chernow engaged in and how historical legacies and narratives are created. I may try and visit Schyuler Mansion when I have the chance.

I downloaded the Boggle app in the App store and I’ve been playing it a ton. I like it better than Ruzzle, but they’re essentially the same. Only recommend if you like a lot of beeps and also, Boggle.
I just got Penric’s Progress by Lois McMaster Bujold in the mail. It’s a new anthology of three books from her World of Five Gods series. The book is classic fantasy in that it’s about an inch thick and the size of my palm, in terms of width and height. Shockingly small. Not really sure how it’s three whole books, but I’ve enjoyed the other books in the series so far.
Lois McMaster Bujold is more well known for her scifi series, the Vorkosigan Saga. A fantastic series that I fully reccomend. A common protagonist across many of them is Miles Vorkosigan, a disabled member of space nobility. My introduction to LMB was this fantasy series, however, which has a different pacing. Also, wow, it is so clear that she likes relationships where there’s an age gap, specifically with an older man. I mean haha it’s her books! She wanted it and she wrote it, but god after you read three you’re like, I’m seeing a pattern.
Anyway, I’ll tell you how it is!
Let’s do this again, but maybe at a different time.
