Hi Everyone,
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there’s a bunch of Australian tech YouTubers. Specifically for older Apple products. Okay, there’s two.
DankPods is the fun one. He does good/bad things to old iPods. I have no trouble understanding his accent, but I would understand if you did. This is some of the internet content that makes me laugh out loud and then my dad says what are you laughing at and I don’t really want to explain, but the walls in this house are just not that thick. You can’t make out other people’s conversations, but voices come through.
God, also the neighbors kitty-corner in the light well are in that one room all the time and it just drives me so mad because I have to be in my room; it’s my home office, but they appear to just be chilling in their living room? reading nook? Or at least they are from the hours of 8 pm - 1 am and yes their reading lamp shines directly into my room, which I guess is my one complaint about the whole thing. 1 am?? Please?? You’re an adult who owns a house I’m not going to lose this game of buying-curtains-chicken I will just be here silently inconvenienced (I have curtains I just hate using them because my one window faces North so my room that I spend all my time in is already dark enough).
Hugh Jeffreys is the other guy and he just does more standard repair job although like anyone who likes likes Apple products and repairing them, he has become increasingly militant in his dislike of the company and their anti-repair design. Probably good to watch if you are actually interested in repairing your Apple device, but I just have it on while I zone out during/after work and that’s good too.
Okay be safe.
